Her organisation together with the Swedish Embassy in Canberra and the Swedish Institute have brought the photo exhibition Swedish Dads to Australia. Opens in September in Sydney.Emma will travel to Sweden in October to learn more about the Swedish Parental scheme.

SBS Interviewer: Ulrika Eriksson

In October 2017, we undertook a study tour to Stockholm, Sweden to investigate how Swedish organisations have implemented family friendly work policies, how they engage both men and women to participate in parental leave and the impact these practices are helping to improve gender equality.

We interviewed researchers, HR practitioners, Diversity and Inclusion professionals, managers and parents to find out what makes the Swedish parental leave system one of the best in the developed world.
