NDC returned to Sydney this year and SSW TV was there alongside .NET Rocks! to catch all of the action with our Ask Me Anything! sessions.

As usual there were a host of top industry pros talking about various subjects related to software development. This year, SSW TV worked alongside .NET Rocks! to run an entire track of live interviews with some of those speakers after their sessions and talked about a number of topics.

In this AMA, SSW’s Jean Thirion speaks to Jon Galloway, executive Director of the .NET Foundation, about his career, the .NET Foundation, .NET Core 2.2 and the future of technology.

Mr .NET

Jon is the Executive Director of the .NET Foundation and a Program Manager on the .NET team. He’s been developing software professionally since the late 1990’s, and over the years has written several books, popular .NET tutorials and samples, a top speaker on Microsoft Virtual Academy, and worked behind the scenes on large Microsoft keynote demonstrations. He’s helped run the Herding Code podcast for 10 years, and tweets as @jongalloway.

Jean is a Senior Software Consultant at SSW. His field of expertise is SharePoint Applications, both server-side and client-side, leveraging the latest technologies to deliver high-quality applications to clients. Jean has been working with SharePoint for the past 5 years, in France, Luxembourg, and now Australia. He is also one of SSW's Angular trainers, delivering high quality applications. He has also been involved in various ASP.Net MVC / WebAPI projects.
