NDC made it’s way to Sydney this year and SSW TV was there to catch all the action.

As usual there were a host of top industry pros talking about various subjects related to software development. SSW TV was there to run the ‘Ask Me Anything’ booth, where we grabbed some of those speakers after their sessions and talked about a number of topics.

Duncan Hunter Interviews Steve Sanderson

Steve Sanderson from Microsoft spoke at NDC Sydney on ASP.NET Core in relation to various JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Knockout etc.

SSW’s Duncan Hunter was on hand after his session to interview Steve at the AMA booth. Questions from the audience include:

  • Razor markup mixed in with Angular Apps
  • Where will Angular CLI go?
  • Will ASP.NET Core include a test runner?
  • Opinions on Web Frameworks (spoiler: Steve likes React)
  • Is Microsoft using all of these Frameworks, or specific ones?
  • How does Steve keep up with all these Frameworks
  • Involvement with the Azure Portal
  • What would have the Azure Portal been like without TypeScript?
  • Advice for .NET developers who are using Front End development tools

Take the Poll!

Will you use ASP.NET Core to build your Single Page Application?
